Worm Paint is similar in concept and use as our Dip-N-Glo™ dye, but in paint form. Worm Paint is a soft plastic paint that is more opaque, more permanent, and non-bleeding than dye but just as flexible. To achieve maximum color on dark lures, dip first in white to act as a basecoat before dipping in desired color. Available in Garlic and Unscented. | 2 fl. oz.

This pattern is designed specifically for throwing at resting or "laid up" tarpon. The combination of materials give the fly a slower sink rate which helps keep the fly in front of the fish longer, enticing the grab. The barring on the marabou tail adds attraction and helps make this one of the "must have" patterns for any tarpon angler.

Designed initially for those on the east coast of Florida, this surface popping shrimp was a custom fly that turned into a much sought production pattern. It has been a key pattern for those on Biscayne Bay, the Keys and Everglades for snook and bonefish, as well as those targeting saltwater salmon in Puget Sound and Alaska.

RIO's Smelling Salt was designed with the laid up tarpon in mind, with a soft landing presentation, foul preventing mono loop under the tail, and neutral buoyancy for a perfect fishing fly. On recent research trips it was noted that this fly also had a very interesting side effect, in addition to tarpon, snook couldn't keep their mouths away from it. This pattern is ideal for the Florida fisherman that doesn't necessarily want to purchase "tarpon specific" patterns, and would rather buy patterns that will work for many species.
